After completing her undergraduate degree in Life Sciences at Queen’s University in Kingston, ON, Danielle started her first job with a travel agency in Montreal. She quickly moved on to become a reservations agent for Air Canada, where she spent 10 years working her way through various positions in sales and marketing before going back to school to obtain an MBA from Concordia University. The last semester of the MBA was spent doing an exchange program with a school in the South of France. (Why she ever came back is anyone’s guess!)
Danielle completed her MBA by doing empirical research for her thesis on the role of supervision in the workplace and made it to the Dean’s list for her academic achievement.
Danielle has served for several years as a Judge for the John Molson School of Business International MBA Case Competition.
Danielle also spent 10 years as Director of Marketing and Communication for a software company before returning to school yet again to complete a Masters’ degree in Human Systems Intervention.
A major life change made Danielle question her own purpose in life. Working with a consultant, she discovered that her true calling was to help others define their own life purpose. As a result of this exploration, Danielle decided to pursue a career in Coaching.
She is an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) with the International Coach Federation and an Executive/Corporate/Business/Leadership Coach and Career Coach certified by the Center for Credentialing and Education.
Danielle lived in Ottawa, our nation’s capital for four years, where she worked as a trainer for various government departments. While living in Ottawa, Danielle volunteered at Ottawa Little Theatre, Canada’s oldest community theatre, and appeared on stage in various productions, most notably playing the role of Bubbie in Susan Sandler’s Crossing Delancey.
Danielle is fluently bilingual in French and English and has a basic knowledge of Spanish and Italian.
Danielle is also a Now What?â authorized facilitator, a program created by Laura Berman-Fortgang for people who are wondering if they want a new life direction. Working through Laura’s program for herself, Danielle rediscovered a long-held love of public speaking and uses her innate talents as a speaker to bring her message to a wider audience. She is a member of the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers (CAPS) and a member of the board of CAPS Montreal, where she serves as Secretary and VP Programming.
Danielle has now developed her own process for helping leaders, teams and organizations manage the many shifts and transitions we all face.
